Where can I find the XL Accelerator software?
If installing from the web page before then...
The Xlerator software download is available on the homepage under My Account.
You can also find it in the User Guide Download XL Accelerator Here.
Install only AFTER you sign up. Clicking before signup will not work because you
need a license that is assigned during the signup process.Back to Top
How do I set up the XL Accelerator software?
Once you download the XL Accelerator software, you will see a XL icon on your desktop. Click to install the software. Then, you will see a larger XL Accelerator shortcut icon. Click this to set up and configure the software. Use Dialup setting if you are using dialup or use Broadband setting if you have a broadband connection (DSL or other). You will see an OPTIONS button. Click that and you will see a General Options drop down box. There you can set ad and site blocking and other features. For System Settings, we suggest you set XL Accelerator to run in the background. You can click the tray Icon (Silver Circle) to bring up the Module to change settings or check speed.

Why doesn't the XL Accelerator icon spin all the time in the Task Tray... ?
The XL Accelerator software only works when you are browsing (surfing) and or when you are sending or retrieving emails. The speed increase occurs when you are involved in these type operations.
